Police conducts Joint Foot Patrolling along interstate border with Assam

The North Garo Hills Police along with Assam Police on Saturday has Joint Foot Patrolling along the interstate border with Assam to sensitise the villagers ahead of Lok Sabha Elections.

The villages covered during the Joint Foot Patrolling are the vulnerable areas of Assam and Garo Hills.

These villages are Kama Gandim, Bolgrimgittim, Tengabari, Hatimari, Balapara, Chilpara and Upper Rongbu under Darangre and kharkutta area in view of the General Elections, 2024

Meanwhile, a similar exercise was carried out today by the jawans of Meghalaya State Armed Police Force (SAPF) in West Khasi Hills as well.

The foot patrolling was conducted as part of area domination patrol in the vulnerable hamlets along the interstate border under Rambrai AC  to ensure “No inducements & Freebies” in the Lok Sabha Election 2024.

The police are ensuring that every possible measures  should be undertaken to instill Confidence in the voters.
