Proprietor of Ialam Makri Gas Agency, Ialam Makri today informed that he will refund all the money to each and over 600 consumers who have taken Gas connection from 20th of this month.
Speaking to media persons, Ialam Makri said that his decision to discontinue the Gas Agency is because he cannot provide all necessary documents No Objection Certificate (NOC) from IOC and card consumers for distribution of cylinders in Shillong.
Makri informed that he had started the Ialam Gas Agency in East Khasi Hills since November 2022 along with Seujee LPG Distributor Agency from Assam but it was learnt that the Seujee LPG Distributor Agency till date have not obtained NOC from IOC for distributing gas cylinders.
“Since I could not procure all necessary documents like card consumers, I would like to inform the customers that I will be discontinuing the supply gas cylinder and all consumers will be refunded from 20 May 2023” said Makri.
Makri informed that his Agency charge Rs.4500 for single cylinder and Rs. 6500 for double cylinder hence all consumers will be refund with the exact sum of rupees but he urged the return only the cylinder
He added that the other reason for his agency to discontinue is because it associates with Seujee LPG Distributor Agency from Assam who still has a pending case at Madanryting Police station.
