Meghalaya TMC North Shillong Block Prez Elgiva Gwyneth Rynjah raises flak against NPP; says the Deputy CM stooped low and lost standards
Meghalaya TMC North Shillong Block President Ms. Elgiva Gwyneth Rynjah, on Monday, condemned the derogatory statement made by Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong.
Recalling the words of the Minister who earlier said that NPP will make sure that powder and lipsticks are available so that the people of Mawkynrew will look more radiant, Elgiva remarked, “It is sad to see such statements come from the Deputy CM who is a high-profile representative of our beautiful state. We can vividly understand the level he has stooped low, indicating that he doesn’t know how to talk and represent before the people of Meghalaya”
Taking a dig at the misgovernance of the MDA, she said that the ruling NPP-led MDA government has done nothing for the people in the last four-and-a-half years. “It is very clear that the Minister nor the government have a clear objective of providing employment opportunities, quality health infrastructure, and better education facilities. We have seen what happened to the protesting teachers recently. Amidst this disastrous state of affairs, the government wants to give lipstick and powder which are trivial to the state”, she commented.
Assuring to eliminate this corrupted rule, Meghalaya TMC North Shillong President mentioned, “The people of Meghalaya will give a befitting response to the current dispensation as we know that the people here are smart and intelligent and they will do the needful in the upcoming elections by throwing away the draconian NPP-led MDA.”
