SHILLONG, MAR 8: The opposition Congress on Friday announced the list of candidates which include sitting MP from Shillong Vincent H Pala and sitting Gambegre legislator Saleng A Sangma from Tura parliamentary seat for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The list of 39 candidates was approved by the Central Election Committee (CEC), AICC general secretary KC Venugopal said.
It also includes 6 candidates from Chhattisgarh, 6 from Karnataka, 16 from Kerala, 1 Lakshadweep, 1 Nagaland, 1 Sikkim, 1 Tripura and 4 Telangana.
