In a minor bureaucratic reshuffle, Meghalaya Government has transferred R.P. Marak, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, North Garo Hills District, Resubelpara and posted him as Deputy Commissioner, South West Garo Hills District, Ampati.
The administrative order, signed by R. Lyngdoh commissioner and Secretary , Government of Meghalaya, Personnel & A.R. (A) Department, also transferred Kumari Mitali Chandra, IAS, Deputy Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare Department, Labour Commissioner, Director, Meghalayan Age Limited and Executive Director, Meghalaya State Skills Development Society, and posted as Deputy Commissioner, North Garo Hills District, Resubelpara.
The order also said that Tangseng G. Momin, MCS, Joint Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Health and Family Welfare Department shall also function as Labour Commissioner, Meghalaya, Shillong, with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.
