With two consecutive suspected Petrol bomb attack in the city, Deputy Chief Minister Sniawbhalang Dhar on Friday made it clear that nobody will be spare for the crimes.
Talking to Meghalaya News 24, Dhar said, “For the crimes, we won’t spare anybody, whoever does crime in the city we won’t spare anyone that is very clear from the Government side. “
Reportedly, Miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at the residence of the Deputy Chief Minister incharge Urban Affairs Sniawbhalang Dhar at Nongmynsong on Thursday night.
Meanwhile, police informed that a burning rag and not petrol bomb was thrown at the escort vehicle of the NEEPCO’s top official and that a case has been registered and police have started the investigation to nab the culprits behind the incident.
With frequent incidents, the law and order has become a cause of concern. Meanwhile, the East Khasi Hills District Police strengthen the security in various VIP and VVIP residence across the District.
