Pressure mounts on HSPDP MLAs to withdraw support to NPP

Demanding the immediate withdrawal of support given to NPP by the two newly elected legislators of HSPDP, the HYC and Ka Sur U Paidbah ka Bri U Hynniewtrep (KSUP7T) will be holding two separate Public meetings on Saturday.

In a press release, the HYC said the two MLAs (of HSPDP) have “betrayed” the people who have elected them by deciding to support the NPP.

They condemn the decision of the two HSPDP MLAs for not agreeing to be part of the move to form the government to be led by the regional parties.

The public meeting is scheduled at 1 pm in Motphran.

The HYC said they will force the two elected representatives to withdraw their support.

The KSUP7T will have a similar meeting near Madan Heh, Mawlai Phudmuri on Saturday at 10am.
