As many as seven persons have sustained injury in the scuffle that broke out between two groups on Saturday morning at Keating Road, Shillong.
Superintendent of Police, East Khasi Hills, Shillong, Rituraj Ravi, informed that following an argument and minor scuffle over parking on the road last night, this morning again the scuffle broke out between two groups at Keating Road.
“A scuffle between two groups broke out today morning at Keating Road. The issue at hand was an argument and minor scuffle over parking on the road last night. 7 people were injured in the melee and have been taken to the hospital for medical,” the SP said.
“The matter is being enquired into and adequate security arrangements have been put in place. The situation is normal, and neither party has come forward to file an FIR as of now,” her added.
