Meghalaya exports 20 Metric Tons of Khasi Mandarin to Dubai

In a momentous event, Meghalaya witnessed the flag off ceremony for the export of 20 metric tons of Khasi Mandarin to Dubai at a programme held at IATC, Upper Shillong. The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr M Ampareen Lyngdoh, Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Minister who served as the chief guest and Ronnie V Lyngdoh, MLA among other dignitaries.

The event, attended by representatives from Apeda and the LuLu group, highlighted the collaborative efforts to boost agricultural exports. Isawanda Laloo, Secretary, Agriculture & Farmers Welfare delivered the opening speech, setting the tone for an occasion that celebrated the achievements of the farming community.

In her address, Dr Ampareen Lyngdoh emphasized the government’s unwavering commitment to supporting farmers. Her words reflected a dedication to fostering agricultural prosperity and strengthening international trade ties.
