SHILLONG, APR 12: The Meghalaya Human Rights Council (MHRC) has taken suo motu cognizance pertaining to the killing of daily wager in the city on Wednesday
The Commission has issued a notice to the Director General of Police, Meghalaya to submit an action taken report within 15 days, a press release said on Friday.
On April 10, a labourer succumbed to his injuries after he along with two others were assaulted by miscreants at Mawlai Mawroh.
